LED Wall Mask Generator

Give your LED wall or projector screen rounded corners, an arch, or a pill shape. Set your resolution, pick a shape, and download a PNG mask for ProPresenter, Resolume, vMix, or OBS. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing gets uploaded.

What an LED wall mask does

An LED wall is a rectangle of pixels. A mask is an image the same size as your output that's black where you want the wall dark and clear where you want your content to show. Put it on the top layer of your presentation or media software, and every slide, video, and camera shot underneath gets cut to that shape.

Why churches give their screens rounded corners

  • It softens a big rectangle. A huge hard-edged screen can dominate a stage. Rounded corners make it feel more like part of the room.
  • It matches your set. If your stage design uses arches or curves, the screen can echo them.
  • It's a fresh look for free. Swap shapes for a new sermon series or a special service without touching the hardware.

How to use your mask

ProPresenter

Download the transparent overlay at your screen's exact output resolution and add it as a Prop. Props sit above your media and slides, so everything underneath gets the rounded edges. If you only want the mask on one screen, use a Look to turn the Props layer on for that screen only.

Resolume Arena or Avenue

Drop the PNG into a clip slot on the top layer of your composition and trigger it. Set that layer's blend mode to Alpha so the clear center shows the layers below.

vMix

Add the PNG as an Image input and send it to an overlay channel. Overlays sit on top of your output, so the mask stays in place while you switch cameras and inputs.

OBS Studio

Add the PNG as an Image source at the top of your scene's source list. To shape one source instead of the whole scene, download the matte and use it with OBS's Image Mask/Blend filter.

Which file should you download?

  • Transparent overlay is black outside the shape and clear inside. It works in ProPresenter, Resolume, vMix, and OBS, and it's the one most people need.
  • Matte is a white shape on black. Use it when your software asks for a luma key, track matte, or mask image. White shows, black hides.
  • Inverted matte is a black shape on white, for the occasional tool that expects the reverse.

Tips for a clean result

  • Match the output resolution, not the physical size. The mask has to be the same pixel size your computer sends to the wall. If you only know your panel count, use the panel calculator above.
  • Check it with the test grid. The red border shows exactly where the corners get cut, so you can see what's lost before service.
  • Soften the edge on low-res walls. On a wall with a large pixel pitch, a curve can look stair-stepped up close. A few pixels of edge softness smooths it out.
  • Keep text away from the corners. A bigger radius takes more room from the corners. Move lyrics and lower thirds in so nothing gets clipped.

Frequently asked questions

Is the LED wall mask generator free?

Yes. There's no account, no watermark, and no limit on downloads.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser. A slide you add for the preview never leaves your computer.

What resolution should I use?

Use the resolution your computer sends to the wall. That's often 1920 × 1080 or a custom LED canvas size like 1920 × 768. Check your display settings or your LED processor if you're not sure.

Can I round only the top corners?

Yes. Uncheck "Same size for all corners" and set each corner on its own, or pick the Arch shape for a half-circle top with a square bottom.

Does this work with a projector?

Yes, but a projector can't make true black. The masked corners will be dark gray instead of fully off, so the effect is softer than on an LED wall.

What if we have more than one screen?

Make a separate mask for each output at that screen's own resolution. A center wall and two side screens usually need three files.
